Small Families

Our Shepherd hut, Crivens, sleeping up to 4, is beautifully equipped to offer you a quality glamping experience. In a sunny position with fantastic views, sited in its own corner of the field near our Safari lodges, has a tucked away secret garden, with plenty of space to explore, play or just relax.

Crivens! is our large quirky shepherd hut, it has a wriggly tin roof and black metal wheels and a wooden ramp instead of steps. In Crivens! you will find a king size bed with wipe clean mattress protector, and a set of bunk beds for children. bedding provided for stays of two nights or longer (can be booked as an extra for shorter stays). There are electric lights, a small stove, microwave, sink with hot and cold running water, a small fridge and cooking utensils, a pan, a pot and a kettle together with cups, cutlery, plates and bowls. There is a luxury shower pod and mains flushing toilet within the hut. There is an electric heater and the hut is well insulated. We find that Crivens! is ideal for small families or couples on a mini break, or for grandparents on a multi generation holiday with grandchildren (with parents) staying in the safari lodges

We had an amazing time at Leafy Fields, staying in Crivens. The place was welcoming, friendly and perfect for us. Beautiful views and close to family friendly places...we spent our summer days river swimming and our nights star gazing. Perfect! Thank you

Crivens (the shepherd's hut) was nicer than it looks in the photos with a great deal of thought having been put into everything. It was well equipped, very clean and cozy and the shower was spectacular! We loved the sunflower room and having animals around. It was lovely to meet other neurodiverse families.
