Family Friendly Holidays

Family Glamping at Leafy Fields. Our safari lodges work really well for families especially with mixed generations or young children. Our safari lodges, Fox and Badger, sleep up to 6 and we often have three generations sharing these spacious lodges of 11m x5m including a  2m deck, family glamping at its best, with plenty of space for children to run around and for parents and grandparents to relax.

All our glamping accommodation is located at the top of our field to make the most of the spectacular views of the rolling Devon countryside.

Families with children are our main guests, especially in the school holidays.  All the accommodation at Leafy Fields Glamping is suitable for families with toddlers or young children. You can reserve a toddler high chair, step and baby bath when you make a booking and our safari lodges both have crockery, cups and cutlery suitable for little ones. We are happy to add this into our shepherd hut on request.

There is a box of children's toys to borrow in each accommodation and a play cubby space in our safari lodges. We have a dedicated play area at the bottom of the field suitable for younger children. We have a sensory play room available to our guests who book the sunflower pack. There are peddle go-carts to burrow.

Badger has a ramp which can help with pushchairs. Fox safari lodge has a good view of the majority of the field so is a good option if you want to watch your children playing at a distance.

There are lots of days out near us suitable for families of all ages, including the Bear trail, the bear town, the wild woods at Escot, steam trains, National Trust properties Killerton and Knightshays, Dartmoor, Exmoor and numerous zoos, not to mension DiggerLand. It is less than an hours drive to both coasts, with wonderful beaches either sand or pebble. There are also some rivers that are good for a paddle on a hot day.
