Our Safari tents sleeps up to six guests. Perfect for family glamping, they have three bedrooms - a king room, bunk bed room and a quirky king size cabin bed. Inside the safari tent is a shower room with sink, mains flushing toilet, and a large luxury shower pod powered by an on-demand gas boiler. The tent is kept toasty warm with an electric heater.
The kitchen is well equipped with pans, enamel crockery, cutlery, tin mugs and acrylic glasses etc. There's a mini fridge, an electric induction hob and mini electric oven. Family dinners can be enjoyed around the large 'farmhouse' style table which seats six. For a relaxed evening there are sofas and a coffee table. There is also seating on the deck in front of the tent, a lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set. The tent is lit with LED energy saving lighting and you will find a couple of sockets in the tent suitable for charging a phone or laptop (this is a 16AMP supply). There's no guest WiFi, there is a good mobile signal on site with most networks.
Outside the tent is a swing ball game, fire pit with seating and large picnic table. There is a small play kitchen on the deck.
Fox Safari tent is great for children. There is the cubby play area inside for those that enjoy a bit of a quiet space. Older children just love our cabin beds, a quirky king size bed in a cupboard, or they can explore the bunk beds. Fox has a commanding view of the field, ideal to keep an eye on more independent children while they explore while you relax. There is lots of open grass space to play in front of this tent. This tent is dog friendly, the deck is fenced and gated, with a fenced small off lead area beside the tent.
Badger Safari tent is a great choice for families with young children and babies. It is tucked away in the top corner of the glamping field. Badger is particularly toddler friendly with large gated and fenced deck area, a ramp ideal for little wobbly legs and pushchairs, lots of space inside to crawl and toddle, plus a cute cubby play space under the cabin bed to explore. If you need a highchair, potty or baby bath? Just book the 'baby pack' as an extra and we'll take care of it (also available for fox). There is room in the safari lodges for a travel cot in the bunk bed room, next to the main king size bed.
This place is amazing! We stayed in the badger lodge and we were totally blown away when we arrived, everything you need and want was there. They have literally thought of everything and more.
Very clean, beds great, bathroom and shower pod were fantastic! Our boys loved the den, sung bedroom, the games for them.
The actually place itself is so peaceful and relaxing, little play area and animals the boys loved, I think there fav bit was marshmallows round the camp fire watching the sunset till the stars came out.
The owners are lovely and friendly, very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was great. Glamping at its best!!
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Great memories made.

Just returned from a week's stay at Fox safari lodge. There were 4 of us 2 adults and 2 young kids. Much enjoyed by all. The owners were very accommodating and even lent our son their children's bike to use on the site so he was happy. They had fun playing with the owners' children too, who were polite and friendly. The safari lodge was very comfortable, nice touches and immaculate on arrival. We liked the full range of unbreakable crockery too, which helped reduce our stress! And the pre-arrival visual schedule of what everything looks like was appreciated by the children. Would definitely recommend to others, especially families with autistic children.
We've just returned from an 8 night stay in Badger Safari Lodge. What an amazing site! We all loved it and we thoroughly recommend it, especially if anyone in your family have special needs. Andrew and Dannie are amazing and lovely people. So much thought has gone into the planning of the site and nothing is too much trouble. Looking forward to going back soon.
